In 1998, Bob Ladd gave over 40 acres of undeveloped land to the City of Duncanville for "purposes related to the promotion or advancement of cultural, artistic, or educational objectives. Such uses may include libraries, educational facilities, interactive learning centers, theaters for live performing arts, indoor ice rink, botanical gardens, and nature trails."
Now, 20 years later, The Ladd Preservation Advocacy is raising awareness about the history and purpose of the property, and encouraging the residents of Duncanville to explore the great opportunities this precious gift affords us.
Please contact me for more information about how to get involved.
